Epic Family Road Trip - Jeep Walkaround
In 2015 the van Stralens, a Canadian family of five, went on an epic family road trip around North America. What started out as an extended trip turned into a lifestyle of adventure for the past four years that has taken them all over the world.
Today Epic Family Road Trip is more than a passion for the van Stralen family - it is a purposeful vision of exploration, intentional travel, and leaving the places they visit better than they found them.
We caught up with Peter van Stralen at this year's Overland Expo East. He gave us a walking tour of their Jeep, explains the essential overlanding gear they use, and how their configuration has changed over the years as the kids have grown.
