Without a doubt, a chest pack is a great way to keep your must-have items at hand. Things like plate carriers, backcountry hunting rigs, fishing vests, and plenty of other items that are meant for gear-intensive activities. Unfortunately, as Matt's experience can confirm, you get some weird looks when you wear them into the restaurant after a long day in the wilderness. That's why our Chest Pack transforms into sling mode in seconds, regardless of what you're carrying. Just unclip the shoulder straps of the mesh harness, roll it up around the strap, and hook the clips onto the webbing. Or you can remove the harness altogether since the 2-inch strap passes through a sleeve that makes it super simple to remove and reattach.

Speaking of carrying, the Chest Pack features zip pockets in the front and the back, and you'll also find laser-cut MOLLE slots on the front and along the bottom. These are great for attaching all kinds of things, including some soon-to-be-released accessories. The larger slots on the front panel accept belt clips for radios and holsters, and they're canted to assist with ergonomic retrieval of whatever you need to carry there. The interior includes 550 cords so that you can adjust how much that compartment opens, and it's lined with loop Velcro material so you can add organizational accessories to your heart's content.
