Tacoma w/ Detachable Camping Pod - featuring Jim of Southern Xpeditions
We caught up with Jim Kazmier of Southern Xpeditions at the last Overland Expo East. We toured his 2014 (2nd Gen) Toyota Tacoma flatbed with custom lift-off canopy / camping pod.
Geared up for family travel with his wife and two kids, the detachable canopy allows for quick camp setup while still allowing the freedom to hit the trails without packing up. Jim puts it this way: "I love the idea of setting up camp...and if we want to go wheeling we don't have to set back up. We can set up camp pull the canopy off and go wheel."
