With our Bum Bag release back in 2022 we introduced the world to a better every day carry platform. Being rugged and modular, it has become the fanny pack of choice for many. Easy to customize and make your own, the Bum Bag has become one of our most popular products.
With the Bum Bag we liberated your pockets for a better way to carry your EDC loadout, now we are taking your everyday carry possibilities to another level with the new Bum Bag XL.
BUM BAG XL - WITH X-PAC
But the Bum Bag XL isn't just a larger version of our Bum Bag - it comes with new features and is made of a unique technical fabric that is new to Blue Ridge Overland Gear. This technical fabric is X-Pac made by the company Dimension-Polyant. Originally created as an advanced sailcloth material, it is now used in high performance gear across the outdoor industry and even in tactical applications. X-Pac is waterproof, lightweight, eco-friendly, and built to take a beating in harsh environments. Like Cordura, it's "built for the long haul, not the landfill."
BUM BAG XL FEATURES
The Bum Bag XL is built with X-Pac fabric, comes with a full width zippered pocket on the back for a notebook or phone, and a belt loop on the body to clip on a holster or sheeth more discreetly. Like it's smaller brother, it also features laser cut MOLLE on the front for additional attachment points, as well as a generous field of loop material for customizing with your own morale patches. We've made the inside modular with internal loop for adding Velcro organizers, like our new Velcro Elastic Keeper 8". With almost twice the storage space as the Bum Bag, wider webbing, and X-Pac construction - this isn't just a big brother, it's more like the leaner, meaner grandaddy!
