Overlanding Essential Kit: A Bag for Everything

We make a lot of bags, and most of them have a specific purpose in mind. We love it when customers repurpose our bags and find other carry solutions for them, but we usually set out with a specific purpose in mind. That wasn't the case for the Mule Bag. The Mule Bag was designed to hold all of the other stuff, and we mean ALL of it. 

With a double zipper, putting gear in and getting back out is a breeze. Climbing-grade webbing handles mean you can trust them to stand up to serious weight, and they're comfortable to carry. Most importantly, the Mule Bag can be dialed in to fit your needs by adding a wide array of pouches. For starters, the Velcro up top and on the sides is perfect for our Velcro Pouches. This is the best spot for smaller items you want easy access to. All four sides of the Mule Bag feature MOLLE webbing for attaching additional pouches, like our GP (general purpose) Pouches. Then, when you want to add serious additional storage that's easy to pop on and off, the Medium Packing Cubes are great "saddlebags" for the Mule Bag.

Not long after we debuted the Mule Bag, one excellent use case started to rise to the surface. It's a great fit for a variety of ammo-can-style fire pits like the Ignik Firecan. More recently, we've found customers are using it to hold the Howl R1 Fire Pit as well.
